Welcome to Daisy Chain Ceremonies
“Caring for your family…. as my own”
Welcome to my website I am Victoria (Vicky) Wesley and I have been honoured to work in the funeral profession for almost 40 years. I began my journey when I was just 15 years old working in my family’s funeral directors in the North West and was so proud when I qualified as a funeral director three years later.
I proudly served our local families for a number of years, becoming part of the communities I worked in. I am still in contact with many of the families I have helped over the years and now count them as friends and I am so grateful to be involved in their celebrations as well as honoured to help them say goodbye to their loved ones.
Time and life move on though and I continued my journey within the corporate funeral world, which came with an opportunity to move to the South coast, helping me to realise a personal dream, living by the sea!
After a while here I realised working for a corporation no longer allowed me to provide care for families on a personal level and this is where my passion and heart has always rested, helping and guiding families through what is possibly the hardest time of their lives and of course helping them to remember, commemorate and celebrate their loved one’s life.
So in 2016 I began a new chapter and left the corporate world behind and came back to the beginning, back to caring for families now in my role as a celebrant, helping people to remember, to love and to never forget.
Funeral Services and Celebrations of Life
“Grieving may be universal, but we all do it in our own unique way”
Each person lives a unique life and it is my belief, that a funeral service should reflect this, paying tribute to and celebrating the life of your loved one, and also acknowledging the pain and loss you the family are feeling.
I will come and see you and your family and explain all the options that are available to you, as a family. We will discuss the music, memories, reading and poems that you would like for the funeral service and if your family would like to share their memories in the service, I will support you to achieve this.
Every ceremony will be individually designed for you and you will receive a draft copy for your approval, keeping you involved in the service and at the heart of the service will be your loved one. I have worked in the funeral industry for 40 years and I passionately believe that.
“saying goodbye is just as important as saying hello”
Together we will make sure your loved one has a funeral service that truly reflects their life, celebrates their achievements and everything that was important to them.
Together we will remember.
Over my career I have mourned and cried with families at times, but I have also celebrated with them too and when the time comes for you to smile, I would be honoured to share those occasions with you also, please contact me for
Weddings, Civil Partnerships, Renewal of Vows, Naming Ceremonies
As with everything I do, each service will be individually composed with your input and beliefs at the forefront. Together we will create a beautiful ceremony that reflects you and your family and the occasion we are celebrating together.

Dear Vicky, I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for the kindness, thoughtfulness, and support you provided throughout the process of arranging my dads funeral service. Your guidance made a difficult time easier to navigate, and your care ensured that everything came together in a way that truly reflected him. Your eulogy captured the essence of who Dad was, and my mum was especially touched by your words. Many of those who attended shared how much they appreciated hearing the memories and stories you brought to life. It was a heartfelt tribute to Dad, and we are grateful for the way you helped shape it. Throughout the entire process, I felt reassured knowing I could turn to you for support. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and your patience and professionalism made all the difference. Weve heard so many lovely comments about the service, people appreciated its sincerity and warmth, and it felt like a true reflection of Dad. Thank you again for everything. Warmest wishes, Leica

I just wanted to say a huge thank you for helping us give our Mum the best goodbye we could have given on Monday 1st August. Everyone has been commenting on how lovely you were and how the service was perfect for Mum; we couldnt have done it without your help and guidance..from coming to Mum & Dads house in Totton for our lovely chat, to even just stepping out of the cars at Wessex Vale, you were there. I know you were with us at every step of the service and it felt like you were really in touch with saying goodbye to Mum with us. A lot of it does feel a little blurry if Im honest, so Im really pleased we have the draft service to read back on one day. The Rainbow poem you chose for us was just perfect too. Weve found some lovely keepsake bits with the poem on that we can buy. I dont know how you do it, but your job is invaluable and the people you meet will be forever grateful to you and that now includes us. Best Wishes Love

I cannot recommend Vicky enough. Shes not only compassionate and kind. She also has a great sense of humour which is exactly what we needed to get through the hard times for our Joe. She goes over and above and she managed to put our thoughts into a brilliant fun and uplifting service. If you want someone empathetic, compassionate and someone whos makes a very sad thing much easier, then Vicky is for you. A real life angel. Thank you Vicky. From Gemma and Scott

Dear Vicky, I just wanted to say a huge, huge thank you to you, for what I can only describe as an incredible service. You spoke about my Dad as if you had known him and us for many years. In my opinion not many people can achieve this. When you were talking, the way in which you spoke about my Dad, gave me goose bumps Nice one!. Your professionalism and attention to detailed delivered an amazing service of which is still being talked about. And will be for many years. Many people at the wake, approached me, commenting on what a fabulous service you provided and asking for your details, of which I was only too happy to give. On a more serious note, as you know I was finding this whole experience very hard to deal with. I honestly think that with out you helping me through the day, I dont think I would have been able to do half the things that I actually accomplished. Thanks again for giving me the courage to give my Dad the send off that he quite rightly deserved. I picked up my Dads ashes today from the crematorium, think I only just missed you, and also told them that you did an incredible job! The icing on the cake, A copy of the service for me to keep, to read back to myself at my leisure, which is absolutely priceless. I will be alternatively grateful. Thank you & kindest regards

Hi Vicky, just a quick note to say thank you again for yesterday and celebrating my Dad in the way you did - You were exceptional in how you conducted the service and captured my Dad so well, it was like you knew him and that came across, we have had overwhelming feedback to how good you were and I wanted to make sure you knew that.
